McCandless Crossing continues to move forward with leasing and construction. Restaurant outparcels
with frontage along McKnight Road (Route 19) are immediately available along with up to 200,000 SF of
office and medical office space. Lowe's Home Improvement and Fidelity Bank have been open for
business since 2010 and LA Fitness opened its doors to members in August 2011. As part of Phase I and
II, several small shops have been opened for business since the beginning of the year with CVS
expected to open October 2012.
In other development news, Phase 3’s Hilton Home 2 is currently in its construction phase and
construction on a 33,000 SF retail/office building will also be commencing soon. Phase 4’s demolition is
underway and grading & clearing is scheduled to begin shortly. As part of Phase 4, leasing for the
250,000 SF Town Center is currently underway.
Tenants in Phase IV will include a Cinemark 12 Screen Movie Theater, HomeGoods, Bonefish Grill,
Carrabba’s, Longhorn Steakhouse, among others. Phase 4 will also include 53 townhomes by Heartland
Homes and a second hotel and medical/office building are planned.
AdVenture Development’s President Kevin Dougherty describes the Town Center as a central, walkable,
livable community that will synergize all the surrounding amenities with connectivity and by mixing uses.
